Celtic sword - Republican period

Celtic swords were adopted by the Roman legions in the 4th century B.C. and soon became the most extended weapon within the Roman Army. It was introduced by the celtic mercenaries who served Rome and there are archaeological records that it wa in use until the first quarter of the 2nd century BC.

 The model we present is the called type La Tène B (Lake Neuchâtel - Switzerland).
